To 99 Wine Enter — Learn Everything
For regular 99 Wine users, logging in has become part of the daily routine. But new members or occasional visitors sometimes run into small issues. This page covers everything you need to know about logging in, explained in plain English.
There are two ways to log in to 99 Wine — with a password or with an OTP. The password method is the most familiar: just enter your registered mobile number or email along with your password. With the OTP method, no password is needed — simply enter your mobile number and a code will be sent to you; enter that code and you're in. For anyone who tends to forget their password, the OTP method is a much more convenient option.
Login Issues — Most Common Causes & Fixes
The most common reason for login issues is entering the wrong password or having Caps Lock on. Click the eye icon in the password field to check what you're typing. When entering your mobile number, start with 01 — no country code (+88) needed.
If you genuinely can't remember your password, click the "Forgot your password?" link. Enter your registered mobile number, receive an OTP, and use it to set a new password — the whole process takes about 2 minutes.
What to Do If Your Account Gets Locked
After 5 consecutive incorrect password attempts, your account will be temporarily locked — this is a security measure. It usually unlocks automatically after 30 minutes. If you need access sooner, reach out via live chat and the support team will verify your identity and unlock it right away.
If you suspect someone else is trying to access your account, contact Support immediately and change your password. If 99 Wine's security system detects any unusual login attempts, it will automatically send you an SMS alert.
How Login Works With 2FA Enabled
If two-factor authentication (2FA) is enabled, an extra step appears after you enter your password. A 6-digit OTP will be sent to your registered mobile — you'll need to enter it within 5 minutes. If the OTP doesn't arrive, wait 1 minute and use the "Resend" button.
Enabling 2FA is strongly recommended — especially for accounts with a significant balance. Even if your password is ever compromised, 2FA prevents anyone from accessing your account. You can turn it on from Account Settings under the "Security" option.
